Buildings Around the World grew out of Sarah Wormann’s travel sketchbook and a project to paint a different building each day. For the club, she works from her travel photos and online maps to paint buildings and street corners in watercolor or gouache. Each monthly print comes with a small color-swatch card and the building’s location, inviting you to look beyond the picture and explore the surrounding streets on Google Maps.

About the creator
Sarah Wormann is a Boston-based artist who works in ink and watercolor. She enjoys drawing the small details that are easy to walk past, like a modern street sign beside a historic brownstone.
